5. The Sailor’s Grave
Midway between Lochranza and Catacol is the grave of a sick sailor who was not allowed to come to either Lochranza or Catacol. The grave is located along the path and faces the sea. As bizarre as it is that a sick sailor died alone here, there is also some positive side and consolation that he is remembered by so many people who pass that way and pay their respects.
